This unusual Lenten Rose is gorgeous both in leaf and in flower. It forms a low mound of large, leathery, marbled, dark green foliage with silver veining. Apple-green buds open to large, cup-shaped, white and violet-purple flowers with a yellow and pink eye, appearing from late winter to early spring, the flowers appear in early spring look like they are dipped with violet, . Excellent in the shade or woodland garden and in containers. The gorgeous marbled foliage remains all year. Hardy.
