Miscanthus 'Grosse Fontane' also known as Chinese silver grass is a robust vigorous clump-forming, ornamental grasses which bears many flowers The upright inflorescence change colour from pink to reddish to silver in late Summer and autumn, giving it a graceful fountain-like appearance. It remains interesting right to the heart of winter when its tall architectural plumes are finely dusted with frost. Height 2m Spread 1.2m. The inflorescences are excellent dried flowers.
