Osteospermum jucundum is a rhizomatous perennial with narrow, aromatic grey-green leaves and solitary daisy-like, light pinkish-purple, dark-eyed flowers with yellow-orange centres. It grows in full sun and is drought tolerant. The back of each petal are a darker smoky lilac, and as the flower opens and closes with the sun, this contrast adds to the plant's charm. Thrives in dry, sunny locations. Attracts bees and butterflies. Flowering from late-spring until autumn!
