Rosa 'Young Lycidas' (Ausvibrant) David Austin Rose

This is a variety of classic old rose beauty the flowers are quite large and deeply cupped even when fully open. the many petals are arranged in an informal way. their colour is new to English Roses, blending very deep magenta, pink and red with the outer petals tending towards light purple, with an almost silvery quality. There is a delicious Tea and Old Rose scent, with hints of cedar wood. It makes an attractive, bushy shrub. Named after John Milton’s poem, Lycidas.
