Veronica gentianoides

The Veronica gentianoides is a an herbaceous perennial  forming a mat of bright glossy green, ovate leaves, from which tall spires of light blue flowers appear in early summer. It's a magnet for bees and looks good growing among other perennials at the front of a mixed herbaceous border. It's particularly well suited to cottage garden schemes. Height 50cm Spread 50cm Prefers moist but well–drained soil, in full sun or part shade.

Growing Tip

Cut back after flowering to encourage another flush of flowers.
